Dr. Vahe Matnishian

Dr. Matnishian is a skilled podiatric surgeon with a broad background in advanced foot and ankle care. He joined the Treasure Coast community after practicing in San Antonio, where he specialized in treating sports-related injuries, fracture reconstructions, Charcot reconstructions, and corrective procedures such as bunion and hammertoe surgery.
Born in Armenia and raised in Los Angeles, Dr. Matnishian earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from California State University Northridge before pursuing both a Master’s in Biomedical Science and his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University. He went on to complete his surgical residency at HealthAlliance Hudson Valley in New York, gaining extensive training in complex podiatric procedures.
Dr. Matnishian affiliated with Peterson Regional Medical Center, giving him the opportunity to treat patients in a variety of settings with continuity of care.
Beyond medicine, Dr. Matnishian is an accomplished multi-instrument musician who enjoys writing and recording original music in the styles of rock and blues. He and his wife, Mallory, are proud parents to their daughter Lola, along with two dogs and a cat.
Dr. Matnishian looks forward to providing expert, compassionate care to patients of all ages and being an active part of the community.
